Who we are

At Yembo, we are bringing a digital shopping experience to all home services (moving, insurance, painting, etc.). We are using software and computer vision based artificial intelligence to eliminate the super analog process - waiting for a trained estimator to visit your home to count furniture or measure your floors and walls. We strongly believe we are going to make a verb out of Yembo - when any home service needs to be estimated, you just "Yembo it". Today, our software is used by leading providers in the relocation services industry, and we are on our way to put together a category-defining product for home insurance. You will be employee no < 30 and this role would be career-defining (just like how seeing an early Stripe or Airbnb employee on LinkedIn).

Who we are looking for

The Director of Marketing is a pivotal role for the organization. We’re seeking a growth-minded, hands-on operator with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity for B2B SaaS companies. As Yembo’s first marketing hire, you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and build the marketing function from the ground up. Responsibilities

Product Marketing

  • Conduct customer and buyer persona research
  • Develop messaging frameworks and positioning documents
  • Manage and update content on web and social
  • Produce sales and product collateral
  • Plan and execute product launches

Content, Demand Generation, & Channel Management

  • Write case studies, blog posts, and press releases
  • Plan, implement, test, and analyze all paid marketing campaigns across various channels including PPC, social, and sponsorships
  • Run A/B tests for funnel optimization
  • Develop email marketing campaigns, including drip/nurture programs, newsletters, outbound outreach, etc.
  • Manage Yembo’s presence at various events and tradeshows
  • Manage and create content for social media channels
  • Ideate, plan, and execute on new growth opportunities and channels
  • Manage a growing performance budget to drive customer acquisition

Operations

  • Create data-driven performance reports
  • Implement and onboard a best-in-class marketing technology stack

About You

  • 5+ years experience working in a similar capacity for technology companies
  • Growth-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple projects at a given time
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and data-driven
  • Energetic, intelligent, willing to learn and teach
  • Familiarity with common tools in marketing tech stack: CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, customer success, and engineering departments
  • Experience working for Pre-Series A companies is a plus
  • Based in the United States
